Doug loves fun t-shirts, and he loves Calvin & Hobbes. Last year we found the Calvin & Hobbes Snow Art Gallery and he loved it. So this year for Christmas, I wanted to try out making a shirt with my new Cameo, and I thought it would be cool to make a shirt of Calvin's snow art. So I did a Google image search, and found a comic I really like:
I opened it up in Photoshop and trimmed it down to just the snow monster:
Then I opened it up in the Silhouette Studio software, and used the Trace tool to make it into vectors for printing. I cut it into black smooth heat transfer and ironed it onto a white shirt. It took a long time to get the ironing done because of all the details, but eventually I finished and it came out looking pretty good!
I liked it so much I made a second one from another comic.

if Illustrator's auto trace tool lets you down, try vectormagic, it does a much better job without the weird sharpness illustrator sometimes gives. http://vectormagic.com/home
